Skillet Bowtie Lasagna

1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz) undrained
1.5 cups of water
1 can tomato past (6oz)
1 TBS dried parsley flakes
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
2.5 cups uncooked bowtie pasta
3/4 cups small-curd cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

In a large skillet, cook beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomatoes, water, tomato paste, parsley, oregano, and salt; mix well. Stir in pasta. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until pasta is tender. Combine cheese; drop by rounded spoonfuls onto pasta mixture. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
